Picture a floral wonderland. That’s the design theme that defines Wynn Palace. Here, we will explore Wynn Macau’s sister property. Opened on August 22, 2016, Wynn Palace is Wynn Resorts’ second luxurious integrated resort in Macau.

Wynn Palace boasts 1,706 guest rooms, suites and villas. There are 15 food and beverage outlets. You can find approximately 107,000 square feet of high-end retail space. Approximately 37,000 square feet are dedicated to meeting and convention space.

The Wynn Palace also features many recreation and leisure facilities. These include a gondola ride, a health club, a spa, a salon, and a pool. Public attractions include a performance lake and floral art displays. Wynn Macau Limited operates both Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace.

Steve Wynn called Wynn Palace the most ambitious project he had ever undertaken. The design incorporates flowers. Water and natural light were also important. Wynn wanted to take the use of these elements to a new level. You will find floral sculptures throughout the Wynn Palace. Some of these sculptures even move.

The Performance Lake covers 26,783 square meters. It features choreographed dancing fountains. There are over 1,000 jets and 2,000 lights. These are synchronized to music. You’ll hear broadway musical numbers and classical pieces. Traditional Chinese songs also feature. You may even recognize some western songs.

Fine art and Chinese antiques are on display throughout the resort. At the opening, there was 150 million US dollars worth of art. Wynn Macau, Ltd. spent millions on Chinese porcelain vases. They also acquired a Chinoiserie tapestry.

Wynn Palace had space for 500 gaming tables. However, it was only allotted 100 gaming tables at the opening. Fifty more were to be allotted before 2019. Wynn moved 250 tables from Wynn Macau to Wynn Palace. This left Wynn Palace with 350 tables. Wynn Macau then had 270 tables.

Wynn Palace is expanding. The more than two billion US dollar expansion will occur in two phases. The focus is on non-gaming assets. A theater and sculpture gardens are planned. Two hotel towers are also part of the plans. These will house approximately 1,300 rooms.

Phase one includes a 650-room hotel tower. An immersive theater is also planned. You’ll also find a food pavilion and art sculpture gardens. A glass and steel structure will be built in the shape of a water lily. It is named The Crystal Pavilion. Phase two will add another hotel tower with 650 rooms. The Wynn Palace continues to evolve. It offers new experiences for its guests.
