Bonanza High School was the ninth high school to grace the Las Vegas Valley. Its design mirrors that of Eldorado High School, Basic High School, and Vo-Tech High Schools. Among its notable alumni is Kris Bryant. He is a former Chicago Cub and San Francisco Giant, and currently plays for the Colorado Rockies. He earned accolades such as NL Rookie of the Year and NL MVP. He also won a World Series Championship. Another prominent alumnus is Dan Reynolds.
