The School of Dental Medicine, nestled within the UNLV Shadow Lane Campus, stands as a testament to UNLV’s dedication to providing comprehensive dental education and care. The state-of-the-art facility, newly renovated and equipped with 165 dental chairs, serves as a training ground for future dentists. It also offers low-cost dental services to the surrounding communities. The school’s commitment to serving the underserved is undeniable. To date, they’ve treated over 90,000 Medicaid patients, and provided screenings and oral health education to thousands more. They’re even planning to launch an advanced program to train Nevada’s first class of orthodontists.
