The construction of the National Sports Complex began. This world-class facility was the brainchild of then Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. Real estate developers quickly saw the potential. They began investing in the area. High-rise apartments and luxury condominiums sprang up. New malls like Pavilion Bukit Jalil opened their doors. The area is now home to several educational institutions. These include the International Medical University and the Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation.
Bukit Jalil’s transformation is remarkable. From a quiet rubber estate to a thriving suburb. It’s a testament to the power of large-scale infrastructure projects. It is also a symbol of Malaysia’s ambition and growth. The area’s strategic location and excellent transportation links further enhanced its appeal. The LRT’s Sri Petaling Line serves the area with several stations adding to its convenience. Bukit Jalil truly offers the best of both worlds. A vibrant modern community with its roots firmly planted in history.
