Presbyterian Senior High School, Teshie

Did the walls of Presbyterian Senior High School, Teshie always echo with the dreams of students? Presbyterian Senior High School, Teshie stands as a testament to community spirit and dedication. It was established in 1981. A group of determined alumni from Teshie Presby Schools, known as the Old Boys and Girls Association, spearheaded the school’s creation. They received crucial support from the Presbyterian Church of Teshie. Interestingly, the school building originally housed the Presbyterian Boys Middle School (Salem). It was transformed into the secondary school we see today. Presbyterian Senior High School, Teshie first opened its doors to 70 eager students, equally split between boys and girls. Just a few years later, in 1984, the school became a government-assisted institution under the leadership of its first headmaster, Mr. Solomon Anang. Presbyterian Senior High School, Teshie is located in Teshie Salem, right next to Peniel Presbyterian Church. The school’s mission is threefold: to achieve academic excellence, instill Christian values, and nurture well-rounded individuals who will contribute to Ghana’s growth.
