What if these walls could talk? Holy Trinity Cathedral Senior High School has a story etched in every brick. Founded in October 1969 the Anglican Church of the Most Holy Trinity established it as a private day school. Imagine it. The school sits right here in the Cathedral Church’s courtyard on High Street Accra.

For five years Holy Trinity Cathedral Senior High School remained private. It was a co-educational institution. Then in September 1974 a significant shift occurred. The school joined the public education system. It became a government-assisted senior high school.

Over one thousand students now call Holy Trinity Cathedral Senior High School their academic home. Known as HOTCASS the school boasts a caring and supportive environment. They focus on self-discipline motivation creativity and excellence. The vision is clear.

HOTCASS offers a range of programs. Students can explore Home Economics Visual Arts General Arts or General Science. The school’s University Acceptance Rate is around 7%. It has facilities including an Administration Block and classrooms.

But Holy Trinity Cathedral Senior High School is more than just classrooms. It achieved quiz fame. The school won a special “What Do You Know” quiz. This was part of Ghana’s 57th independence anniversary celebrations.

The school anthem speaks of loyalty and dedication. “Pray for the peace of HOTCASS” it begins. “The sky is our highest limit” it declares. HOTCASS students are encouraged to fight on and succeed.

Before 1969 Mr Sam Amayih played a crucial role. He was asked to start the school. He agreed and the dream became reality.

Holy Trinity Cathedral Senior High School continues to shape young minds. The school is located on High Street in Accra Central. The motto guides everyone: “Vertute Et Veritate”. This translates to virtue and truth. The school colors are purple and white. Holy Trinity Cathedral Senior High School remains a beacon of education.
