Right here stands Kaaf University College. It is an institution dedicated to knowledge and excellence. Kaaf University College began its journey in 2007. Michael Aidoo founded it. The National Accreditation Board accredited it as the first private university in Ghana.
Kaaf University College started with a small group of students. It has since grown to accommodate around 1200 students. The university began with the Faculty of Engineering and a Department of Business.
The university now offers diverse programs. These programs fall under four main faculties. They are Engineering, Business Administration, Health Science and Law.
The Faculty of Engineering offers various Bsc programs. These include Construction Technology, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. Also offered are Geomatic Engineering and Computer Science.
The Faculty of Business Administration provides courses in Accounting and Banking. Students can also study Finance, Human Resource Management or Marketing. Entrepreneurship is another option.
The Faculty of Law offers a Bachelor of Laws program. There are both 4-year and 3-year options.
The Health and Allied Science faculty includes Nursing. Also included are Midwifery, Public Health Nursing, and Physician Assistant Studies. Students can further study Medical Laboratory Science.
Kaaf University College is affiliated with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology known as KNUST. The university is also linked to the University for Development Studies UDS. The Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration GIMPA also are affiliated with Kaaf University College.
