This placement creates a unique, asymmetrical street facade, a subtle yet distinctive feature of Sankt Bonifatius. Over the decades, through wars, postwar hardships, and reconstruction, the community around Sankt Bonifatius thrived. In 1962, a kindergarten was added, further solidifying the church’s role as a cornerstone of the community. Today, the church continues to serve as a hub of activity. The Bonifatiuskantorei fills the sanctuary with beautiful music during services. The St. Georg Scouts offer guidance and adventure to local youth. Every Saturday, the aroma of soup and freshly baked cake fills the air as the community gathers in the gymnasium to provide meals for those in need.
