In 1982 a new chapter began. The Living Light Christian Church was officially launched. It was a time of spiritual awakening. Many felt the dynamic power of the Holy Spirit. This was part of the Charismatic Renewal. The Living Light Chapel in Accra Ghana became a beacon of faith. It’s a place where people from varied backgrounds united. They were joined by their belief in Jesus Christ.
The Living Light Chapel wasn’t just a building. It was a community. A community passionate about their God. They cared for one another. They shared a common vision. Their mission was threefold. They focused on deepening their relationship with God. They worked to restore the Church. They spread the good news of God’s Kingdom.
This mission began with a humble start. The church’s leaders understood the importance of guidance. They sought an apostle for oversight and input. They eventually found John Lalgee in 2005. He continues to serve in an apostolic role. The church has grown significantly. It now boasts six congregations. These are spread across Wisconsin Michigan England and Germany. All are overseen by One Church Ministries.
Living Light Chapel’s beliefs are firmly rooted in scripture. They hold the Bible as God’s inerrant infallible Word. They believe in God as one existing in three distinct persons. The Father the Son and the Holy Spirit. They emphasize the importance of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. This is central to their message. They teach that salvation is a gift of God not earned through works.
The chapel’s commitment to discipleship is evident. They strive for spiritual growth. They encourage members to grow in their relationship with God. They want members to fulfill their calling. The chapel uses the Holy Spirit the Bible and the Church for guidance. Living Light Chapel aims to fulfill the Great Commission. They seek to make disciples of all nations. They carry out this commission in their families communities and globally. It is not just a project. It is their way of life.
Living Light Chapel stands as a testament to faith. It is a place of worship. It is a place of community. It is a place of growth. It is a place where people find purpose. It is a place where the good news is shared. The Living Light Chapel’s story is a journey of faith and growth. It continues to inspire many. It is a beacon of hope in Accra.
