Established in 1997 the Pommernhus initially resided at Wolgaster Strasse 33. This art gallery moved. It found a new home at Johann-Stelling Strasse 30 in 2004. Finally in 2006 the Pommernhus settled at its current location on Knopfstrasse 1. This isn’t just any gallery. The Pommernhus is a vibrant hub for art and culture in Greifswald. It’s a non-profit institution. The Helmut-Maletzke-Stiftung supports it.

The Pommernhus boasts four spacious exhibition rooms. They total 185 square meters. The high ceilings allow plenty of light. They are perfect for showcasing art.
