Guangzhou Zengcheng Yingyuan School is a collaborative creation. The Zengcheng District People’s Government and the Guangzhou No. 2 Middle School Education Group joined forces. Together with the Zengcheng District Education Bureau, they made this school a reality. It is a testament to their commitment to education.
The junior high division opened in September 2018. It started with 32 classes across three grades. The senior high division followed in September 2021. It began with four classes. Guangzhou Zengcheng Yingyuan School is located at 1 Xinxue Road, Yongning Street. The campus covers approximately 83 acres. The plan includes 36 classes each for junior and senior high students. A new campus opened in September 2023.
Guangzhou Zengcheng Yingyuan School embraces a philosophy. It inherits Guangzhou No. 2 Middle School’s spirit of “Yuan Yuan inheritance and morality.” The school motto is “Uprightness and perfection, knowledge and action.” They promote the spirit of “loyalty and benevolence.” The goal is to create a “true school with quality education.”

The high school department project includes classrooms and offices. There are also living service facilities. Outdoor facilities include sports grounds and green spaces. Once fully built, the senior high section will have 36 classes. This addition allows for 1,800 new student places. This helps alleviate the shortage of school places in Zengcheng District. It will better meet the community’s needs for quality education.
The school is planned with multiple learning spaces. These spaces encourage interaction and discussion. This improves learning efficiency and critical thinking. The design integrates planning, landscape, and architecture. It makes use of the existing terrain. This creates a vibrant, multi-layered garden space. It enhances the quality of student life.
During construction, challenges were overcome using BIM modeling. This helped in the layout of temporary and construction areas. Even during peak construction with over 1,300 workers, epidemic prevention measures were in place. The project maintained a tight schedule. The district housing and construction bureau oversaw the project. They ensured quality and efficiency.
