Embracing Truth at PJ Gospel Hall. Have you ever sensed a place brimming with purpose? Right here at PJ Gospel Hall, that feeling permeates the very air. PJ Gospel Hall isn’t just a building. It’s a testament to faith, a beacon of hope established in 1959. PJ Gospel Hall embraces the motto: “Embracing the Truth, Empowering our Actions & Engaging Lives”. This speaks volumes about the community within. They believe their faith should not just be a belief but a way of life. A driving force behind their actions and engagement with the world. I want to take you back to June 2nd, 2018. Picture a vibrant Sunday morning at PJ Gospel Hall. The day began with a worship service and the Lord’s Supper, led by Saw Yu-Shen. A speaker from Operation Mobilization delivered a powerful message. The sermon, “You Only Bring: Training Disciples in Missions”, drew inspiration from Matthew 14:13-21. Later, the community gathered for corporate prayer, guided by Jason Lim. Simultaneously, Sunday School classes nurtured young minds in faith. That afternoon, the “Ladies in Touch” group convened. Mrs. Lalita Puri spoke on “BARNABAS – The Encourager”, based on Joshua 21:43-45. Mrs. Joanna Selvasegaram chaired the meeting. The CMCT Mission Team shared an inspiring message titled “Encouraged by God”. PJ Gospel Hall isn’t just a place for Sunday worship. It’s a vibrant hub of activity throughout the week. Just a week later, on June 9th, 2018, another inspiring Sunday unfolded. Reverend Karthik from Bethany Home shared insights from Matthew 25:31-46. His message, “Meeting the Lord Jesus through the service to the needy,” resonated deeply with the congregation. Adult Bible classes, Sunday School, and even an E&D meeting filled the week, creating a constant hum of community and shared faith. PJ Gospel Hall is more than just bricks and mortar. It’s a living testament to the power of faith, community, and service.
