Step into a place where faith meets community: Templo Elohim El Shaddai. El Shaddai is not just a name. It is a powerful declaration. It means “God Almighty.” It is rooted in ancient Hebrew tradition.
Templo Elohim El Shaddai welcomes everyone. The Christian Temple El Shaddai extends its arms to all. It offers blessings of strength and spiritual growth. The church hopes that your time here will provide guidance. Wisdom and empowerment are also offered.
El Shaddai is a combination of two Hebrew words. “El” means God. “Shaddai” means Almighty. “El Shaddai” is translated as “God Almighty”. This is found in Genesis 17:1 and Genesis 33:11. “El Shaddai” is one of the seven Covenant Names. God revealed Himself to the Israelites through these names. He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He is the All-Powerful, ever-living God. He never changes. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Hebrews 13:8 confirms this. He is the All-Sufficient One. He is “The God Who is More Than Enough.” He is the source and provider of all needs. With Him, all things are possible.
Senior Pastor Hannays Charles and Pastor Sherry Charles founded El Shaddai Ministry in 1997. They started the ministry in New York. The ministry has grown tremendously over nineteen years. It continues to spread God’s word. It strives to win souls for His kingdom.
The Pastors consistently display love and compassion. Their faithfulness is reminiscent of God’s grace. Despite many trials, they hold on to the cross. They depend on Almighty God for guidance. They dedicate their lives to doing His work.
Templo Elohim El Shaddai offers various services. Tuesdays at 7:30 PM is Prayer and Bible Study. Fridays at 8:00 PM is a service. Sundays at 10:30 AM features service and Sunday School.
The church believes in the autonomy of the local church. Final authority resides in the congregation. Pastors are called by God. The congregation recognizes and appoints them. They are entrusted with the oversight of their local churches.
Pastors primarily teach God’s Word. They accomplish this through expository preaching. This is a systematic explanation and application of the Bible. The Bible is God’s Holy Word.
Christians must be involved in evangelism. This should happen locally and globally. Churches must commit to the Great Commission. They should reach their communities with the gospel. They can support missionaries financially. They should also support evangelists and church planters. This helps spread the gospel to the ends of the Earth.
Templo Elohim El Shaddai stands as a beacon. It is a testament to faith. It is a place of community and unwavering devotion.
