“Ever wonder how a single spark of faith can ignite a global movement?” That’s the story of Victory Outreach. It is a church that started with a simple act of kindness.
Victory Outreach began in 1967. Sonny and Julie Arguinzoni invited drug addicts into their home. These were people they didn’t even know. They shared a powerful message: God loves you. He has the power to change your life. This small gathering blossomed. Victory Outreach was born.
In the early 1970s, Victory Outreach expanded. Members felt a strong calling to spread their message. They started new churches across California. They had little money. They sometimes lacked contacts. Yet, their faith was strong.
The 1980s saw Victory Outreach reach across America. Churches popped up nationwide. Their success fueled an even bolder move. They planted churches in Amsterdam and Mexico. This marked their first cross-cultural expansion.
From the 1990s onward, Victory Outreach experienced rapid growth. This happened both in the United States and overseas. Today, one-third of Victory Outreach churches are international. This adds a global flavor to their ministry. Still, their main focus remains on inner cities in America.
Victory Outreach has become one of the largest inner-city ministries. It meets the needs of people from all walks of life. For over 50 years, Victory Outreach has empowered individuals. They help them reach their full potential. This includes starting churches and building careers. It also means nurturing families.
Victory Outreach continues to grow. It has a network of over 700 churches and ministries. These are located across America. They also reach 30 countries worldwide. From the Philippines to the Netherlands, they spread their message.
Victory Outreach in San Diego County plays a vital role. Victory Outreach Escondido was founded in 1986. It serves the region. Victory Homes redefines men’s futures. It gives them purpose. It helps rebuild community and family.
Each Victory Outreach church is self-governing. It is also self-supporting. The Escondido home operates through donations and hired labor. Residents live there at no cost for 18 months. The program has helped rebuild 2,000 men’s lives.
Victory Outreach offers weekly services. Sundays at 9 am, 11 am, and 6 pm. Tuesdays at 7 pm. Third Wave Thursdays at 7 pm. They preach the Word of God. They encourage people to pursue a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Through dedication, Victory Outreach impacts the world. They reach people of the inner cities. Generosity makes this possible. Partners help others reach their potential in Christ. Giving makes a difference.
Victory Outreach is more than a church. It is a story of transformation. It is a story of hope. It is a story that continues to unfold.
