Craze swept China. That’s how Lecong Furniture City began its journey. Lecong is now one of the richest towns in Shunde.

Lecong Furniture City started in the early 1980s. It took advantage of the reform and opening up. The city absorbed experiences from furniture industries at home and abroad. It established a distribution center. This center was on both sides of National Road 325.

Over three decades, struggle and innovation helped Lecong Furniture City become the largest furniture distribution center in the world. It received honorary titles. These include “Capital of Home Furnishing Trade and Innovation of China”. It’s also known as “Global Furniture Sourcing Center”. And “China Excellent Furniture Industry Cluster”.

Lecong Furniture City covers nearly 4 million square meters. It consists of more than 180 large furnishing shopping malls. Over 5,000 distributors are present. More than 30,000 medium and high-grade furniture pieces are on display. These come from all over the world. Almost all furniture in the world can be found here in Lecong Furniture City.

There are more than 180 gorgeous furniture malls. The Foshan Lecong furniture market is recognized as the largest furniture industry market. You can find different styles of furniture in the Lecong furniture mall.

Consider Chinese style classical furniture. Or Neo-Chinese custom furniture. Maybe European style classical furniture. Italian style minimalist furniture. Or Neoclassicist furniture. Lecong has it all.

Lecong is in Shunde District. It’s in Foshan City, Guangdong province in Southern China. Lecong sits in the hinterland of the Pearl River Delta. It’s northwest of Shunde. And south of Foshan’s central urban area. Lecong is less than 30 km from Guangzhou. It is just over 100 km from Hong Kong and Macau.

National Highway 325 runs through Lecong. It goes from the south to the north. The furniture market helps develop Lecong’s economy.

Lecong is home to several large furniture malls. The Louvre International Furniture Exhibition Center is famous. It has a total building area of 380,000 square meters. It features over 2,000 top China furnishing brands. And over 100 top-class European furnishing brands.

The Lecong International Exhibition Center is another key location. It covers a building area of 100,000 square meters. Sunlink Furniture City has both north and south sections. The north section focuses on living room, bedroom, mahogany, and office furniture. The south section offers sofas, hotel furniture, and contemporary furniture.

Other notable malls include Red Star Macalline. Also consider Shunde Empire Furniture Wholesale Center. And Tuanyi International Furniture City. Finally, there’s Foshan International Furniture Expo Center.

Getting to Lecong Furniture Market is convenient. It’s 30 km to Guangzhou. And 100 km to Hong Kong. You can arrive by train, air, or ship. From Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, taxis and buses are available. From Hong Kong, ferries run to Shunde harbor. Then take a taxi to Lecong Furniture Market.
