A small church hidden away. That’s how one might describe Giáo xứ Bình Thọ. It sits nestled in an alley facing the Sư Phạm Kỹ Thuật school.
Back in the 1970s Jesuit fathers used this very spot for missionary work. These dedicated priests founded Giáo xứ Bình Thọ. Father Michael Nguyễn Hữu Phú wanted to honor them. He chose Saint INHAXIÔ as the patron saint of Giáo xứ Bình Thọ. Saint INHAXIÔ founded the Jesuit order. This decision ensured the church forever remembered its origins.
Mass times at Giáo xứ Bình Thọ vary throughout the week. On Sundays mass is at 6:30 AM and 4:00 PM. Monday through Saturday masses are at 5:30 AM and 6:00 PM. These services provide a consistent spiritual rhythm for the community.
Father Joseph Phạm Thanh Bình SDB has served as the Parish Priest since 2022. He provides leadership and guidance to the parishioners. His dedication continues the legacy of the Jesuit founders.
