Goi Station is located in Ichihara. It is operated by both JR East and Kominato Railway. The station has a unique charm with its paper tickets. The weathered train platform evokes a sense of nostalgia.

Goi Station serves as a vital transportation hub. It connects the Uchibo Line and the Kominato Line. Opened in 1912 by JNR it has been serving passengers for over a century. The Kominato Railway station opened later in 1925.

Imagine stepping onto the Kominato Railway at Goi Station. The diesel-powered train usually has one to three cars. As the train chugs along open the window to feel the breeze. You can admire the endless meadows of yellow flowers. Lush rice fields prepare for harvest through the summer.

In 2005 the JR East station saw an average of 20307 passengers daily. The Kominato Railway station served 1810 passengers each day. Goi Station connects you to key destinations. These include Ichihara City Hall Goi Branch and Sunplaza Ichihara. You can even reach the Ichihara Seaside Stadium from here.

Goi Station comprises two island platforms. These platforms serve four tracks. One platform serves the Uchibo Line. The other caters to the Kominato Line.
