“Sanhe No. 2 Middle School will become an excellent student base for us.” Those words marked a new chapter. It happened on May 25 2021 when a cooperation agreement was signed.
Sanhe No. 2 Middle School is a high school in Yanjiao. This is in Sanhe Langfang Hebei China. It is also known as Yanjiao Senior Middle School.
The school has a long history. Back in the 1960s it was a key high school in Hebei Province. It even became a provincial demonstration high school.
Sanhe No. 2 Middle School is located where Hebei meets Beijing. It is specifically in the Yanjiao Development Zone.
Currently the school has 4600 students. There are nearly 400 staff members. This includes 309 full-time teachers. Among them are master’s graduates from Tsinghua University. Also present are researchers from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The school boasts two national-level key teachers. There are also two special-grade teachers and 78 senior teachers. 144 teachers are ranked as first-grade.
The school covers 300 acres. Its buildings span 120000 square meters. The total investment exceeded one hundred million yuan. It features two comprehensive buildings. These integrate teaching offices experiments and a library. There are also six student apartment buildings. Two student dining halls are available. One student comprehensive service building exists. Five teacher residential buildings complete the layout.
The school is divided into six functional areas. Its teaching instruments and facilities are top-notch in the province.
In recent years Sanhe No. 2 Middle School’s college entrance exam results have improved. The rate of students entering undergraduate programs is among the highest in Langfang. It is at the top among key middle schools.
Over five years the school has sent 4089 excellent graduates to higher education institutions. 608 of them went to key universities. More than 1593 entered the top two tiers of undergraduate programs. Nineteen students were admitted to Tsinghua University and Peking University.
Sanhe No. 2 Middle School continues to focus on quality education. It strives to deepen teaching reforms. The goal is to continuously improve its educational standards. They even hope to invite experts to provide college application advice. This aims to increase the college enrollment rate further.
