Jesus Village Church is more than just a place of worship. It is a place where people come together. They worship, learn, and share the good news of Jesus Christ.
Did you know that Jesus Village Church has a strong focus on youth and students? The Youth and Student Ministry aims to bring young people together. They worship and train together. They also spread the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.
Every Thursday evening, students from the Royal University of Phnom Penh gather here. From 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, they have a worship program. They fellowship, learn guitar, and study the Gospel.
Jesus Village Church also partners with students from Seoul National University in South Korea. Together, they host an annual youth and student camping event called Come & See. New students are invited to participate. Many of them have never heard about Jesus Christ. The hope is that they may believe and accept Christ into their lives.
Beyond Phnom Penh, Jesus Village Church has a vision for a larger impact. EMI Cambodia partners with Promise Church on the Jesus Village Project in Kampong Chhnang. It is a project about 2.5 hours north of here.
The Jesus Village Project aims to spread the Gospel and bless Cambodians. It seeks to improve lives and achieve economic independence. It envisions a sustainable, self-supporting community.
The village will eventually include 300 affordable housing units. There will be a church, a performance theater, and agricultural land. Also planned are a factory, schools, workshops, and a clinic. The entire site covers 102 hectares.
The project is being developed in phases over many years. EMI provides documents for the overall village master plan. This includes architectural site zoning, water supply, and wastewater treatment. Electrical distribution and access routes are also planned.
Worship services at Jesus Village Church occur several times a week. On Wednesdays, there is a service from 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Saturdays also have a service from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
