What if legal education transcended borders? Here at the 國際法學院 (School of Transnational Law), part of Peking University’s Shenzhen Graduate School, that “what if” is a reality. The 國際法學院 isn’t just any law school. It’s a unique bridge between East and West, offering a truly transnational legal education. It stands as the only law school in China granting an American Common Law Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Even more remarkably, the 國際法學院 is the only institution globally offering both the American J.D. and a Chinese law Juris Master (J.M.) degree. The 國際法學院 also extends its unique approach to international students with a specialized LL.M. program. Established in 2008, the school has grown rapidly.
