Founded in 1904 as a Sunday School Life Church at Ardsley Park has a rich history. Thirty-seven members gathered in the home of Mr and Mrs R H Griffith. They quickly outgrew this space. In 1905 they rented a building on Green Street now 55th Street. It became the Green Street Mission. J N Lee was their first pastor. The church incorporated as Fourth Baptist Church in 1908. A significant move occurred in 1917. They relocated to their current location on Bull Street. In 1927 they officially became Ardsley Park Baptist Church. The church saw substantial growth particularly during the 1960s. Cultural shifts led to a period of decline. By 2013 a small core of members remained. Pastor Jon Tillman joined in 2013 leading a revitalization. The church refocused on community engagement. They adopted a mission to Grow Love and Reach. This new direction included a name change in 2017. Life Church at Ardsley Park now thrives. It continues to grow while cherishing strong relationships. It’s a vibrant community a testament to its enduring faith. The church invites you to be a part of its ongoing story. From humble beginnings in a home to a thriving community on Bull Street.
