In 1898, a new seed of faith was planted in Middle Village. This seed was the St. Pancras parish, branching out from St. Brigid’s and St. Margaret’s churches. For five years, the burgeoning congregation worshipped at St. Brigid’s. Then, in 1905, Father Luke Fink took the helm at St. Pancras. Services shifted to the former Daly mansion in Glendale. A new church, completed in 1906, rose nearby, and the mansion became the parish rectory. St. Pancras Church continued to grow and thrive. Years later, on September 7, 1924, the cornerstone for the current church was laid. The grand dedication of St. Pancras Church took place on September 19, 1926. The church stands as a testament to the enduring faith of the St. Pancras community.
