Opened in 2008 by Amélie Seydoux and Bernard Jordan. Jordan Seydoux quickly became a Berlin art world fixture. This gallery specialized in contemporary drawings and prints. But there’s more to the story.

Jordan Seydoux wasn’t just a gallery. It was a partnership born from shared passion. Amélie Seydoux and Bernard Jordan both loved original limited editions. These editions allowed artists to explore unique creations.

Let’s step back to Auguststrasse 22. For ten years Jordan Seydoux thrived here. The gallery showcased international artists. They organized solo and group exhibitions. Prints and drawings found equal space. Jordan Seydoux also acted as a publisher. They collaborated with artists to produce limited editions.

Jordan Seydoux worked with Frank Badur. François Morellet and Imi Knoebel joined too. Françoise Pétrovitch and Patrick Gabler also collaborated. Pierre Buraglio rounded out the impressive roster.

But times change. In late 2018 Jordan Seydoux moved mostly online. You could follow them on Instagram and Artsy. Email became the primary point of contact. They still shipped worldwide.

Even online Jordan Seydoux continued its mission. It presented original prints and multiples. These works came from international artists. Jordan Seydoux collaborated with renowned publishers.

Consider the philosophy behind Jordan Seydoux. Amélie Seydoux and Bernard Jordan wanted artists to create freely. Limited editions provided this opportunity. Artists could realize works otherwise impossible.

Look at the list of artists they’ve represented. John Armleder, Georg Baselitz, and Tony Cragg all appeared. Bertrand Lavier and Diana Quinby also exhibited. These names showcase the gallery’s international scope.

Notice that Jordan Seydoux continues to operate. They are available by appointment. Contact Amélie Seydoux via email. The gallery maintains a presence in both Berlin and Paris.

Jordan Seydoux embodies a modern art model. It adapts to changing times. While its physical space may be gone its mission endures. It champions artists and original limited editions. The spirit of Jordan Seydoux lives on. It connects artists and collectors around the world. So, while you may not be able to wander through a physical space on Auguststrasse today, you can still experience the art of Jordan Seydoux through its online presence, a testament to its enduring legacy in the Berlin art scene.
