“Preach the Kingdom of God to the lost sick and suffering people throughout the world.” This is the mission of the New Testament Church. It is a calling that echoes through its very existence. The New Testament Church stands as a beacon of faith.
The church believes the Bible is the only infallible Word of God. It speaks with final authority. This authority concerns truth morality and the proper conduct of mankind. The Bible is the sole source of their beliefs. They believe in one God. He is the creator of all things. They believe God created man for fellowship. Man’s sin separated him from God.
The New Testament Church fervently believes in a literal eternal heaven. It is the reward of the saved. They also believe in a literal eternal hell. It is the punishment for the damned. They believe the penalty for sin is eternal separation from God. Man cannot redeem himself. God sent Jesus to die on the Cross. This act paid the penalty for sin. It provides redemption for all who receive God’s gift. Receiving Jesus as savior is the only way to receive pardon. It is also the only way to receive eternal life. The church practices water baptism. This is an act of obedience to God’s Word.
The New Testament Church believes in the Baptism of the Holy Ghost for all believers. It was given and received by the followers of the Lord in Acts Chapter 2. They believe in the accompanying gifts and Fruit of the Spirit. The church supports efforts to evangelize all people.
