Trinity Episcopal Church a Midtown Houston treasure stands before you. Founded in 1893 it began as a mission from Christ Church. This humble beginning blossomed into one of the largest Episcopal parishes. Imagine the bustling Fairground Addition transforming into the Midtown we know today. Trinity Church witnessed this evolution. Its congregation included notable figures like Walter Cronkite and Denton Cooley. Their presence adds a layer of fascinating history. Kim Clark Renteria Kermit Oliver Troy Woods Shazia Sikander and Selven O’Keef Jarmon contributed their artistry. A 1918 Pilcher pipe organ recently restored adds to the church’s beauty and sonic richness.
