Could a church truly bring hope and healing to an entire region? Here at the Jesus Center San Pedro, that very question has been answered with a resounding “yes”. The Jesus Center San Pedro isn’t just a building. It’s a testament to a vision, a dream held by Lead Pastor Daniel Park since his teenage years. He dreamt of pioneering a church that would be a beacon of hope. While in seminary, Pastor Park had a vision about a spiritual awakening in the South Bay. This vision propelled him to take action. In 2013, with a small group of friends, he held the first service of Jesus Center in a modest office space in North Torrance. Starting with just a dozen people, the church experienced rapid growth. The growing congregation led them to a larger warehouse space in South Torrance in 2017, complete with a worship center, a cafe, and classrooms. But the story of Jesus Center San Pedro doesn’t end there. A spiritual renewal in 2023 fueled further growth, prompting a search for an even bigger space. In 2024, they secured the former Temple Menorah in Redondo Beach. This allowed them to continue to expand and impact the community. While the Redondo Beach location became the main hub, the Torrance location continued to host prayer meetings and youth gatherings. The Jesus Center San Pedro embodies the spirit of growth, transformation, and community. It’s a place where lives are changed, where people find purpose, and where the vision of bringing hope and healing has become a vibrant reality.
