Established in 1962, the Sea Aggie Center began as a marine laboratory and housed the Texas Maritime Academy. The campus expanded significantly in 1968 thanks to a generous 100-acre donation from George P. Mitchell. Situated on Pelican Island, the Sea Aggie Center offers a unique blend of academic rigor and maritime charm.
