Built around 1828 Wat Chan Pradittharam stands proudly. This Bangkok temple boasts a rich history. It was originally named Wat Chan. A wealthy hermit Mr Chan donated land. The temple’s name reflects his generosity. Later in 1958 the name changed to Wat Chan Pradittharam.

Wat Pradittharam sits on the Thonburi west bank. It’s in the Phasi Charoen District. The temple’s location is easily accessible. It’s near the Chao Phraya River. This adds to its charm.
