Deliverance Temple’s history is intertwined with other ministries. Bishop and Dr. Page joined the Highway Church of Christ in Baltimore MD in 1959. They were under the leadership of Bishop Fred Page Sr. They received baptism in Jesus’ name. They also received the gift of the Holy Ghost.

In 1960 they moved to New York. They joined the Highway Christian Church of Christ. It was under the leadership of Bishop Jesse V Lomax Sr. The church was located at 305 West 142nd Street.

Elder Liston Page Sr began to pastor a small congregation in 1964. Services were held at 1669 Park Avenue. In 1965 the congregation purchased a building at 211 East 115th Street.

Deliverance Temple bought a church at 371 Tenth Avenue in Paterson NJ in 1972. In 1982 Bishop Liston Page Sr and the congregation bought a building at 132 East 111th Street. Deliverance Temple has a rich history. It shows its unwavering commitment to faith and service.

Today Deliverance Temple continues to uphold its mission. It offers spiritual guidance and community support. It remains a vital part of Brooklyn. The church extends its reach through modern technology and traditional values. This ensures its message resonates.
