It was formed from part of the existing Takatsuki City and Settsu City School Association San’ya Elementary School. The school expanded quickly. A pool was completed in July 1973. A gymnasium followed in November of the same year. In June 1974 the school even created its own song.

\u8328\u6728\u5e02\u7acb\u5929\u738b\u5c0f\u5b66\u6821 continued to evolve. In April 1978 a special needs class called “Himawari” was established. However growing student numbers led to a change in 1982. Ibaraki City Higashinara Elementary School was created.

More changes came in 2004. To deal with increased child numbers parts of Unobe and Higashiunobemachi were reassigned. These areas became part of the Nasu Elementary School district.

Today \u8328\u6728\u5e02\u7acb\u5929\u738b\u5c0f\u5b66\u6821 serves students from various districts. These include Tenno 1 and 2丁目 Daisho-cho and others. Graduates typically advance to Ibaraki City Tenno Junior High School.
