Established in 1986 by Pastor Bill and Mary Catherine Shanks New Covenant Fellowship has a rich history. Their vision was simple to reach the lost and help people grow in their knowledge of God. This wasn’t just a dream it became a reality. Located in Kenner Louisiana the fellowship quickly became a vital part of the community. Pastor Bill Shanks a man of unwavering faith dedicated 37 years to his ministry. His work extended beyond the church walls. He actively protested against abortion clinics in New Orleans. One by one these clinics were shut down. This was seen as a testament to his tireless efforts and the power of prayer. The church isn’t just a building it’s a place of spiritual growth and community. They offer Sunday services Bible studies and prayer meetings. They also have outreach programs. These programs show their commitment to serving others. Many members describe the fellowship as a place of love acceptance and spiritual renewal. One member Margarita Nunez-Gonzalez called it a great place to hear the word of God.
