Trident Construction spearheaded the project, breaking ground on a new era of fun and fitness for the Lower School students. The old playground, while cherished, had seen its share of Charleston sun and tides. This revitalized space was designed to be a fitness-centered hub, complete with a multi-use soccer area for students of all ages. The new playground boasts exciting features designed to keep the children entertained and engaged. It also incorporated resilient materials, resistant to the ever-present threat of tidal flooding and erosion that Charleston knows so well. The project wasn’t just about swings and slides.
