October whispers carried the promise of new beginnings. The Word of Life Christian Centre, a mere fellowship of 15 souls, held its inaugural service in Accra on the 25th of that month in 1987. The Caprice Hotel, their initial meeting place, bore witness to their humble beginnings. The Word of Life Christian Centre quickly outgrew this space. They relocated to the Social Advance Institute in Adabraka, Accra. Here, the congregation blossomed to over 2,000 members. The church’s influence expanded beyond Accra, with branches sprouting in Nungua, Odorkor, Ho, and other parts of Ghana. Today, the Cathedral of Hope stands as the headquarters of the Word of Life Christian Centre. It’s located on Manet Court road, off Spintex Road. At the heart of this vibrant community is Rev Dr Isaac Quaye, the general overseer of the Word of Life Christian Centre. A respected teacher, pastor, and motivational speaker, Dr. Quaye is also a leadership development expert. His vision is clear: to share God’s message of hope with a world in need. He strives to uplift people from lives of disappointment to lives of achievement and success. He does this through the timeless principles of God’s word. For over twenty-five years, Dr. Quaye has shared his teachings across six continents. He speaks at conferences, seminars, and healing crusades. He also lectures at Bible colleges and seminaries. Every Saturday morning, from 6:00 am to 6:30 am, the airwaves carry his inspirational message on Sunny FM. The “Word of Life Broadcast” touches countless lives. Beyond his pastoral duties, Dr. Quaye leads LEAD Associates, a human capital development company. He resides in Accra with his wife, Lady Vanessa Quaye, and their daughter. The Word of Life Christian Centre’s vision resonates with Dr. Quaye’s message of hope. They aim to be a witness of God to mankind.
