Across the bustling campus, you’ll find the Paris Auditorium / Dining Hall. This unassuming building holds more than just lectures and lunch breaks. The Paris Auditorium / Dining Hall is actually a part of Temple University. Did you know that Temple University’s basketball team, the Temple Owls, once played their home games at the Philadelphia Convention Hall? That arena, also known as the Civic Center, was a legendary venue that hosted everything from NBA games to political conventions. It even welcomed music legends like The Beatles and The Grateful Dead. While the Paris Auditorium / Dining Hall may not have the same star-studded history as the Civic Center, it carries the legacy of Temple University’s vibrant past. Each day, students gather here to learn, share meals, and create their own stories. Who knows what future legends might one day say they found their start within the walls of the Paris Auditorium / Dining Hall?
