Established on March 9 1972 Rachawinit School stands proudly. It’s a testament to the vision of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Rachawinit means the place where boys and girls are taught goodness by His Majesty the King. This isn’t just a school it’s a legacy.
Rachawinit School wasn’t built overnight. Mr Sukhum and Mrs Junforng Thirawat generously donated land. King Bhumibol Adulyadej then championed its expansion. It opened in 1972 with 347 students. Today it occupies over 42 rai a significant increase from its humble beginnings.
The school boasts multiple buildings. Building 1 Romklao houses administrative departments. Building 2 Bongkodmard holds the Student Council. Building 3 Ratchawitarn is dedicated to science. Building 4 Siriyakarn contains the school bank and cooking lab. Other buildings include Chalermprakiat 1 and 2 with a library and auditorium. A sports complex and a new canteen have also been added.
