In 2011 a group of international scholars had a dream. They wanted to renew the humanities. They founded the Polis Institute in Jerusalem. This wasn’t just another language school. Polis aimed to revive ancient languages. They believed studying the past would foster understanding and peace.

Polis also developed academic programs. Master’s degrees in Ancient Philology and Near Eastern Languages were offered. These programs were accredited by prestigious European universities. This ensured international recognition. Polis continued to innovate. It developed Living Sequential Expression or LSE. This teaching principle improved language acquisition. It is a method the Institute developed itself. Polis also published textbooks. These provided additional learning materials. They were written by Polis teachers.
