The Freizeitzentrum West or FZW adds to the Hall of Fame Graffiti’s significance. Since 1968, the FZW has evolved into an innovative hub for youth and pop culture. The Hall of Fame Graffiti fits perfectly into this creative environment. The FZW is regarded nationwide as a creative and successful organizer.
“Da Kukse Wa” emerged as a cult magazine. It documented Dortmund graffiti. Marianne Brentzel wrote the texts. Hubert Moormann captured the photos over two years. It features interviews with graffiti pioneers. They include Chintz, Shark, Chana and Zodiak. Published in 1987, it is likely the first German publication on graffiti.
Writers from all over Germany have contributed to the Hall of Fame Graffiti. Tims Tism created art here in 2023. Timski Dry3r left their mark in 2022. Dry One added characters in 2023. Alf Baked created pieces in 2023. Eazy-E’s work appeared in 2023. Writers Unknown and Rol One have also contributed. These artists transformed the wall into a dynamic display of creativity.
