This library is a branch of the Osaka Municipal Libraries. It stands as a repository of knowledge. It is a community hub in the Miyakojima Ward of Osaka.

The \u5927\u962a\u5e02\u7acb\u90fd\u5cf6\u56f3\u66f8\u9928 first opened its doors on July 5 1978. Before this library existed there was the Osaka Municipal Sakuranomiya Library. It was located in Kita Ward. Due to its proximity staff worked at both libraries. The Sakuranomiya Library closed in 1980. Some of its collection was inherited by this library.

Let’s step inside the \u5927\u962a\u5e02\u7acb\u90fd\u5cf6\u56f3\u66f8\u9928. The library spans 662.01 square meters. The reading room occupies 402 square meters. Please note that the library is on the third floor. The first and second floors house a ward community center.

As of 2018, the \u5927\u962a\u5e02\u7acb\u90fd\u5cf6\u56f3\u66f8\u9928 held a collection of 70070 books. The library also subscribes to 75 magazine titles and 14 newspapers. The library offers a selection of media too. There are 205 videos and 296 DVDs available. Patrons can borrow up to 15 items at a time. This includes up to five CDs DVDs or cassettes. The loan period is 15 days.

Getting here is easy. You can arrive by Osaka Metro Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line. You can also use the JR Osakajo-kitazume Station. Alternatively the Osaka City Bus stops right outside.
