The first stone of Valley Chapel was laid not by an architect but a stone mason. Valley Chapel’s story began in 1920 in Warsaw New York. The congregation initially met in tents in the village park. Their first pastor a stone mason purchased stones to build a church. He later moved to a different church. The next pastor a woodworker sold the stones. He used the money to buy wood. He then built the original Valley Chapel building. Today that building is the Town Court on Center Street and Brooklyn Street. Valley Chapel has deep roots in Warsaw and Wyoming County. It is a constant reminder of God’s work in the area. The church continues to serve its region. In 1997 Valley Chapel moved to its current location. A ministry center was added in 2012. Valley Chapel hosts many events. These include community outreach food distributions and family parties. It is truly a gift to the community. Valley Chapel is a place to belong a place to grow and a place to believe. The church welcomes everyone into God’s family. It is guided into a future full of transformation peace and restoration.
