Within its walls, you’ll find a unique blend of traditional Thai and modern architecture. Something truly special about Chitralada Palace is its focus on agriculture and research. Did you know there’s a dairy farm and dairy products factory here? They were established to provide for the royal family. They even distribute products to the local markets under the “Chitralada” brand. Another highlight within Chitralada Palace is the prestigious Chitralada School. It was founded by King Rama IX himself. Initially intended for the children of palace servants and the royal family, it now welcomes students from diverse social backgrounds. While the general public cannot access the palace grounds, seeing this royal residence from outside is a memorable experience.
