Centennial Hall

In 1988, Centennial Hall rose majestically on the Yonsei University campus. This grand structure wasn’t simply built of bricks and mortar. It was built with the spirit of Yonsei. It was a testament to a century of dedication, a gift from alumni, faculty, prominent figures, parents, and students. Centennial Hall stands as a beautiful symbol of collaboration and shared vision. It commemorates 100 years of the university’s existence. Centennial Hall isn’t just one thing. It’s a vibrant hub. It serves as both a museum and a concert hall. The architecture seamlessly blends elegance with modern design. Inside, you’ll find three floors above ground and one below. The total area covers an impressive 9,917.36㎡. Within Centennial Hall’s walls, history and music intertwine. The museum boasts ten exhibition halls, a small lecture room for intimate gatherings of up to 110 people, and four secure vaults safeguarding precious artifacts. The concert hall resonates with the power of performance, offering 900 seats and spacious lobbies on each floor. Centennial Hall is more than a building. It is a living embodiment of Yonsei University’s legacy, echoing with the voices of the past and the melodies of the future.
