Across the road, discover the Wat Salak Tai Museum. It is a treasure trove of historical artifacts and antiques. The museum honors King Rama V’s visit. It holds memorabilia from his reign. See the crutch and badges given to the chief monk. Royal visits to Koh Chang are depicted in frescoes. A model of the Royal yacht is on display. Construction of Wat Salak Tai’s ubosot began in 1996. It finished on January 6, 2013. The project cost 14 million baht.
