Founded in 1893 TMI Episcopal has a rich history. It began as the West Texas School for Boys. The school’s founder James Steptoe Johnston was a fascinating man. The Panther Battalion has been an Honor Unit with Distinction for over a decade. This high ranking allows cadets to apply to US service academies without needing congressional recommendations.
