For two years after the opening Chiba Municipal Hanamigawa Elementary School used the former Fifth Elementary School building. During that time the old Fourth Elementary School’s facilities were renovated. They transformed the school buildings and gymnasium.

Two years later a brand-new Chiba Municipal Hanamigawa Elementary School emerged. It stood on the grounds of the former Fourth Elementary School.
