Phase two from 1988 to 1992 saw the restoration and construction of iconic landmarks. The Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque Qasr Al-Hukm Palace itself plazas gates everything was meticulously recreated. Local craftsmen were employed ensuring the district remained true to its roots.
Phase three focused on attracting the private sector. Modern commercial buildings rose alongside historical structures. The High Court and Civil Defence found homes in the restored district. This ensured the area’s continued vitality.
