The Hói Dòng Mến Thánh Già Tân An endured the tumultuous decades following the Vietnam War and continued to grow and serve the surrounding communities. In 2016, the congregation was officially renamed Hói Dòng Mến Thánh Già Mĩ Tho by the Bishop of Mỹ Tho.
