International Christian Revival Church began in 1991. Dr. Kingsley Arthur from Ghana founded it. It started as an evangelical free church. Today, it’s a multicultural hub in Berlin-Wedding.
The church belongs to the Bund Freikirchlicher Pfingstgemeinden. This means it’s part of a larger network of Pentecostal churches. From its beginning, the International Christian Revival Church has welcomed people from all backgrounds. Currently, its members come from 21 nations. Immigrants, refugees, and locals worship together here. Over the years, thousands have passed through its doors. Some are now in ministry themselves. Dr. Arthur also leads the Evangelische Allianz for Berlin-Wedding.
The leadership of the International Christian Revival Church reflects its diversity. It includes a pastor from Ghana and a pastor from Germany. There are also elders and deacons with and without migration backgrounds. Services at the International Christian Revival Church are bilingual. They are held in German and English. Additional languages are translated simultaneously. Songs and worship switch between languages. A children’s service is held in German. Services last two hours. Afterward, there’s fellowship with snacks. Many members travel far and lack local family. The church aims to be a family, not just an institution.
The International Christian Revival Church offers many weekly activities. There’s a prayer meeting and Bible study. A young adults group also meets regularly. An evangelization team shares the church’s message. A TV team records and publishes sermons. The Revival Gospel Choir is well-known. It includes Africans, Germans, immigrants, and refugees. They support a project in Ghana. This project helps children attend school and provides meals. It also builds water systems and a home for young mothers.
Another key part of the International Christian Revival Church is “Rat + Hilfe e.V.”. This is a social office for locals in need. Volunteers have run it since 2004. The International Christian Revival Church holds services on Sundays. Services are at 10:30 AM and 2:00 PM. They are in English and German. Other languages are translated as needed. Snacks follow the services. Other activities include a Monday prayer meeting at 7:00 PM. There is also a Wednesday Bible study at 7:00 PM.

Älteste Barbara Arthur leads the women’s circle and children’s ministry. Diakonin Marlis Rotenhof handles translation and evangelization. Ältester Anicet Tadem works with youth. Diakon Lukas Keul manages technology and mission. Diakonin Linda Tadem supports children’s ministry and the choir. Gregoire Amoussou-Guenou is an usher. Diakonin Maggie Arthur-Nitschke leads worship and mission.
