He became a member of One Way Church of Christ in 1990. Bishop Gregory Tucker led the church. There, he met Deloise and they married in October 1991. Apostle Dorsey received a calling. It was a mandate to preach in the Rikers’ Island prison system. He has won over 5,000 souls for the Kingdom of God. He aimed to reach 10,000 by 2017.
Apostle Dorsey founded Tehillah Word Ministries in Laurelton. He has served as senior pastor for 18 years. The church welcomes everyone. It ministers to the community’s needs. It provides moral guidance.
