Hidden between Steingasse and the Capuchin monastery lies St Johannskirche. This unassuming church is Salzburg’s oldest on the right side of the old town. Its name St John’s on Imberg Church refers to an old name for the Kapuzinerberg mountain. The church’s core is Romanesque. Baroque features were added later in the 17th century.
