Pichaya Suksa School began in 1989. Professor Dr. Thira Sutabutra was a key founder. He was the President of Kasetsart University. Mrs. Sunongnart Sutabutra also played a vital role. She was previously the principal of Pathai Udom Suksa Private School. Associate Professor Sriwongse Sumitra was another founder. He served as Vice President for Student Affairs at Chulalongkorn University.
Located in Nonthaburi Province, Pichaya Suksa School started small. It opened with 80 students and 20 teachers. By 1998, the school had grown significantly. It reached its peak with 2700 students and 150 teachers.

In 1993, its library was recognized. In 1994, it received the Royal Achievement Award. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presented the award to Pichaya Suksa School.
Mrs. Sunongnart Sutabutra has also been honored. In 1994, she was recognized for promoting Thai cultural activities. In 1995, she received an award as an outstanding educational administrator.
